In this short scene, Oswald tells Cassio that he has made the right choice in revealing his love for Viola to her father. He also says that he still has feelings for Viola and wants to believe in her. He apologizes to Cassio for lying to him and asks him to apologize to her no matter what happens. He says that even if they cannot see each other again, he wants to end things "properly" . He asks Cassio if he still thinks that he is fat.
