Akane arrives at her dentist's office and is told that she has had a bad time with her wisdom teeth, and that the pain has finally passed. The dentist asks her to open her mouth and examine it, and she nervously opens her mouth. The doctor asks her if she is nervous, and when she says yes, he says that her next appointment will be her last. Akane is amazed that the doctor would touch her mouth in such a strange way, and wonders if it was because he was trying to get her to stop smoking.
