The narrator tells us that he's been working in the office for four years now, and that his boss is still cool. He's not the type to go to the bathroom when he has to answer a phone call, so the narrator tells her to go talk to the boss when she's done answering the phone. The boss is cool, she says, but she'd rather talk to him when she gets home from work. She tells the narrator that she has a call from the boss's assistant, a guy named Kiyoshi Madarame, who works in the sales department. Kiyoshi is a nice guy, and his and Kiyoshi's bosses trust him very much. The narrator says that Kiyoshi doesn't seem to be in love with anyone right now, but he does seem to like older women. She's also a bit shy, so she'll have to figure out a way to get along with him. She asks the boss if she can have a drink with him, and the boss tells her that she can. The two of them decide that they're going to have two drinks together.
