About This Chapter
The next morning, the narrator wakes up to find himself in a room with three meals and sex in the middle of the night. He's just finished reading his novel, which he's been reading for fun. He hates the novel because it's so illogical and he can't figure out how he could have written something like this. He also hates the fact that the narrator is acting like a "sexmaniac" . The narrator tells us that the company wants to do a follow-up interview with him in his house. He doesn't want to do it in his own house because it would be a waste of time and money, but he also knows that some people at the company are suspicious of him and think that he is a ghost writer. He asks the narrator to tell him how he feels about the novel and his work environment.
