In this chapter, the young narrator is playing with a sex toy with his childhood friend. The toy is a slip-prick, which is a sexual toy that allows a person to slip into another person's body. The sex toy allows the person to move his or her body in a sexual manner. The young narrator feels that the sex toy is being played on him by his friend, who is a "sex freak" and a "lascivious scoundrel" . He feels that his friend is trying to "stab lump of lust" in his friend's "stomach" , and he feels sorry for her. He asks her what she would like him to do if she were to listen to his request.
