The scene opens with Kim Young-nam, a huge fan of Kim Dae-jung's music, trying to get his autograph. He's been waiting for two years for him to come to the university, and now he's finally there. Kim asks if he can have his picture taken with him, and Kim says he can, but he'll have to wait outside the school until the class is over. Kim is bummed that he can't be with his friend, but then he realizes that they're both in the same college class.
