Tachibana asks what's going on. He doesn't know why she's talking about him kissing Souma because he likes her. He's not sure why she wants him to like someone else. He thinks about it at night, and realizes that he didn't really want him to be attracted to anyone else. So he's worried about what will happen if Souma and Chiba get together. He also worries about how he'll be able to get Chiba to apologize to him if he goes to Souma's house alone. He says that if he went to Chiba's alone, he'd have to apologize, too, because it's his fault that Souma likes him so much. He tells her that if she hadn't kissed him, he wouldn't have liked her at all, and that's why they got into a fight in the first place. She says that she'll write him an apology when she gets back to him, but Chiba isn't home yet, so she can't give it to him yet. She tells him that they all fell in love, and this is why everything happened.
