About This Chapter
It's the middle of the night, and the cat and the master are happily hanging out. The master tells the cat that he's doing what the master tells him to do, which is to rustle the health of the cat. The cat says that the master once told him that all he had to do was touch the cat's hand, and that's how he came to accept the man into his heart. He asks the cat why the man is hanging out at the house of a regular guy, but the cat doesn't know. He wonders if the man's "true nature" is "loaded and super hot," or if he just wants to hang out with a rich family. He says that sometimes he wonders which side of the man "is his true nature" , and wonders if it's just "squish till you mm" . Then the cat tells the master that if he were lonely, he'd stay by his side . The man says that when he gets lonely, it makes him want company, so he slaps his wife, slaps her husband, and slaps the man. He's so persistent, the cat says, that he tells the man he'll find a way to come over to the house, but he can't because he has to go to a meet with old friends. He thinks maybe the man has had enough, or maybe his love for the cat has run dry, and he says that he was on his break, too, when he saw the man hanging out with the other employees. The old man asks the man if he knows his name, and when the man says yes, the old man says, "I'm you're fresh applicant here, yes, sir." The man asks if the
