The cat asks the young man if he is alone. The young man says he is, and the cat asks if he has been on "vocalion" . He says he would like to be a good person to the man, but he is afraid that the man is too trusting. He asks if it is the fault of the man sleeping next to him that the cat fell asleep, and she says it is not. She says she would like the chance to go to waste, and asks if the man was serious or not. He replies that he was being serious, but she says she was too sleep-deprived to do so. She asks him if he had something that he needed to do to turn down an important event. She wonders what the man will think about her absence, and wonders if he will feel lonely
