It's autumn, which means that Shumi and Shimada are about to graduate from high school. Shumi is sad that he has to take extra tests to get into college, but he's also happy that he'll be able to spend more time with Shimada. He asks Shimada to give him his "right hand" so that he can "tug shove to whoa" . He's not going to be lectured by anyone who is getting into college by learning with "hem pardon me" , he says. He wants to be in the best place he can be with his studies. Shimada says that he hasnt yet decided where he wants to go to school, but Shumi says he'd rather not go straight to the "heart college" because he doesn't think it's "so important" that he go to the same school over and over again. He tells Shimada that he thinks he should go to a different school if he can't get into the "best place" he can get into with his study. He says that if he goes straight to "the heart college," then he won't be as important as if he went to "different schools" because that would mean he wouldn't have the chance to "get in to whatever i can get my head on." Shimada responds by saying that he is not sure what Shumi's problem is, and that he just wants to "tap not it" when Shumi asks him to go straight into the heart college. He also says that Shimada is calling a "third wheel" when he refuses to let him in to his house. He reminds Shimada not to flunk his exam, and to get dressed before he runs into a cold. He adds that he hopes Shimada enjoyed the story, because he thinks it has a "big effect" on senju.
