The chapter opens with a conversation between Misaki, a student at the university, and her friend, a nurse. Misaki tells her friend that he has been avoiding her ever since he met her at the club. She tells him that she is taking him home and that she has no desire for sleep. He tells her that he does not like her because she is attracted to other men. He asks her if she is gay and she replies that she did not want to be around men because she thought she was not comfortable being around them. He then tells her to try and be nice to him instead of forcing her feelings on him. She says that he kissed her again in the faculty bathroom and that every day was like this. He invites her to a welcome party at hisakawa tonight at 7 p.m. and she says that it is not good for her to avoid him since he is such a rough host, but she tries to think of the people around her. She asks if she used to work as a host, and he replies that if she had made enough money to be a hostess, then working at an office must have been a hobby for her. The nurse says that she and Misaki are having sex every time they meet and that he cannot forget her body because he is chasing her.
