Hikari asks her husband why he is so lonely when he goes to work. He replies that he is not lonely because he is alone, but because the adults around him are "seen as granpas" . Hikari tells him that she is sorry that he has to "tag along like this" and asks him if he has been lonely before. He responds that he was, and that he had been playing with them the other day. He asks her if she is on break from school, and she replies that she has nothing like that. He says that he always says things like "someone like me" and she says that she wants to be like him. He tells her that he thinks it hasnt gotten through yet to him, and they are not buying the idea that he likes her. He laughs and says that it looks like hikari has made a friend older than himself. He also says that hikari is the first friend the little boy has ever had, and he says that the boy's parents are friendly, but not as friendly as hikari's. He adds that he does not know why the boy likes him so much, but he does know that they read books together, slept together, drew pictures together, and found someone they want to be with. Before she married her husband, he said that she was so cute and she stared at him too much and he was scared. She says that when she proposed to him and he did not notice anything, she thought that he ignored her and continued on.
