About This Chapter
The young leader of the Flying Feather sect tells his followers that they can no longer take the sword anymore. He tells them to be careful with the sword, because it is very hard to break. He also tells them that he is using internal energy, or "feng chiyin" , to heal his wounds. He asks them to think of something to do. He says that the sword used to be a very powerful weapon, but now that it can be broken, it is no longer suitable for combat. He reminds them that it was the first weapons master, elder guo, who invented the sword. The boy asks him if he wants to spar with him, and the young leader says that he would like to do so if he won. He then tells the boy that he already knows his opponent's level when they fought earlier, and that he will count the victory as his own. He warns the boy not to bully him, but to make his feet move half-step, and he promises to give him the first punch. He explains that he was injured before, and after healing himself with internal energy he was able to recover a great deal. He offers the boy the opportunity to join the sect and become one of the great disciples of the sect leader.
