One of the souls tells chiyou that he has found a way for him to separate his soul from his body. He also tells him that the soul lamp is gone and that he can use it to get his soul back. The soul lamp was last seen at the demon's house, where it was ranked last seen in hexu. This means that if the lamp is an artifact, chiyou can just use it and get back his soul.
