Exorcist tells the gang that they're going to be together soon. He's not joking, of course, but he doesn't want them to dig into the details of their relationship. He just wants them to know that he's happy to be free from him. He tells them that if their feelings are hurt, he'll beat him up for it. They all agree that this is the right thing to do, and they'll all do whatever they want from Madame Bovary.
