As a child, the narrator hates that his family is poor. He tells his teacher about the school lunch and coughs so he gets whatever she gives him. He doesn't blame his father for his poverty, but he does wonder if he should blame himself for his father's irresponsible behavior. As a student, he has good grades and is good at everything his peers do. But he has an inferiority complex, which is like a ticking bomb waiting to destroy him anytime. The teacher's fiancee is a dentist, and the class president tells the narrator that she is the fiancee. The narrator feels humiliated and inferior, and he wonders what hurt him so much when he was younger. She dismisses the texts from the seniors, and she dismisses the teacher. The class president says that the teacher is handsome, and that he is the fiance of the dentist's student. The classmate says that she has a rich father and that she entered the school by donation. The professor dismisses all of the texts and the narrator says that he often deals with adults in order to earn his tuition. He says that it was easier to steal the heart of the girl who was just turning 20 years old than to get admitted early. His name is Yoochungha, and it took two weeks for him to go out with the girl. He asks the teacher to do it deeper, but the teacher begs him not to. The girl is pregnant, and her father wants to see her. The secretary of the tutor's father guides her into the reception room, where she finds the teacher like an idiot
