In this chapter, Tokoyo explains that there are many worlds out there, and that summoning is one of them. There are objects that can be summoned, and there are those that can't be summoned because they're too far away from the world of the summoner. He says that he's going to become one of these summoners, and he promises to come back to the humans in the future. He explains that he was abandoned by his family when he was a child, but that doesn't mean that he isn't capable of helping people. He tells us that he has set up a device to prevent people from getting close to him. He also says that the device detects a worldview expansion, which means that things outside of the world have been summoned. He's worried about what he'll do if something happens to him, but he says that it's a warning, and they need to get ready to go to school.
