When Hayato returns home, he finds that his father has gone straight to work. When he asks Hayato why he is not feeling well, Hayato tells him that he is afraid that Hayato is mad at him for rejecting him twice. He says that he wants to apologize to Hayato, but that he has pushed himself too hard on Hayato. He tells Hayato that he does not have it in him to see Hayato and act like a normal person. Hayato asks if he has had a fight with another friend, but Hayato says that it was not a fight, and that things are not as bad as they seem. He asks when he will be returning home, and Hayato replies that he will meet him at the train station. He explains that he was afraid that he would lose Hayato when he started hanging out with the other guys in the library, and when he found out that they were hanging out together, he was so embarrassed that he could not say anything.
