It's the beginning of another school year, and Hayato is having a hard time adjusting to his new classmates. He's a little nervous, but he's also a little excited about his new crush, i.e., Izumida. We learn that i.zumida is a mouth-full girl, which means she's not afraid of talking to people. Hayato tells us that he'll be having a little chat with her in the morning at the school cafeteria, where there are no other students around. He also tells her that he wants to get to know her better, so he can make her not like him. She's all, "I don't know, I'm afraid to be disliked, so I'd rather not get too close to anyone" . She also tells him that she wants to live on her own after she graduates from college, and that she'll need to find a way to make Hayato not like her.
