About This Chapter
Two days have passed since they left the island of Illyria, and Isabella and Jack have no idea what to do with themselves. Isabella asks Jack to turn the ship around so they can get back to England, but Jack refuses to do so, saying that he has nothing to do. He tells Isabella that he's going to set sail for England, and that they're going back to the island. Isabella says that she's waiting for Jack to come to her, and Jack says that if she doesn't come, he'll come back and kick her off the ship. She says that the fog is fine, and they need to leave the island, but they can't because they've left the pendant behind. She asks Jack if he wants to see his mother, and he says that he does want to see her.
