After seventeen hours, the dreadnought has been captured and taken to Carthicus, where he is being guarded by a group of soldiers. He asks where his guards are and is told that they are in the "wandering crime zone" . He also learns that the emperor has been killed and that three months have passed since the fall of Storgholm Castle. He is also told that the best fighter in the world has been taken prisoner and that he will be killed in three months. He then tells the soldiers that he is the 14th son of the Hurons and that his duty is to serve the emperor without question and to die for his glory.
