About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the police have been called to the scene of a third mutiny at an addiction center. This is the third time that the center has been involved in a mutiny in the last month, and the police are worried that this is a sign of Cocaloco's disapproval of the center's treatment of the prisoners. De garra and Lucie are held hostage by the prisoners, who are demanding that they be given whatever they want. The prisoners, however, refuse to listen to their demands, and they set the center on fire, killing the director and Lucie. The police have restored order at the center, but the prisoners will not be allowed to sleep that night. They will wake up the next morning as if nothing has happened. The book says that a wise man listens to the advice of others, but a fool thinks that he walks straight, and a fool follows his own path. Lucie tells the prisoners that everything that has happened to her is their fault, and that she cannot think of her father without suffering. She tells them that they are the only person in the world that even thinks about her, and she tells them to show her " boundless passion" and show her love for her
