In this chapter, the young narrator tries to understand the meaning of the phrase "introductive research method" , which refers to the study of social phenomena in order to gain a better understanding of the world around him. He is confused by the similarities between the handwriting of the two women and by the fact that they are talking about the same subject. He decides to follow the women and ask them questions, but he is unable to find out what is going on.
