Amu and his friends are hanging out by the river. Amu wants to make sure that they don't get swept away by the current, which is strong. He wants to float a toy boat down the river, but he can't figure out how to make it cool enough for them to float in. They're grilling kabobs, and the kabobs are so hot that it's hard to get close enough to cut them. They want to grill them, but the hotness of the grill makes it impossible. They grill kabobs until they're all gone, and then they grill the last kabobs and grumble about how sad they are. They have a festival coming up, and they want to take advantage of it.
