The Governess arrives at the grain shop to find that the shop has run out of rice. She apologizes to the Governess for her wife's improper behavior, but the Agriculturist refuses to sell the grain. He tells her that the demand for grain has spiked, and he has to sell it at a higher price. He says that he can't sell grain without it, even if he has sliver in his barn. The Agriculturist tells his wife that he will write a letter to the Prime Minister of the country, saying that he is not a match for her. He promises that the letter will arrive five days after the imperial edict arrives.
