This chapter's epigraph comes from the opening lines of Act IV, Scene 1 of the play. It's a quote from the play's opening soliloquy, in which Diomedes tells the audience that he's going to kill himself if he doesn't get his way. He's about to do so when he hears the news of the attack on the northern outpost of the Volscian army, which is under the command of Yondarius. He tells his men to hurry up and capture the outpost as soon as possible.
