About This Chapter
"A te future with you" is the first line of the chapter, which introduces the protagonist, Tokura, who is a sales associate at a food company. Tokura complains to the sales associate that his company's new product is "a piece of crap" and that he wants an apology from the company. The sales associate responds by saying that he works in a division that deals only with complaints from customers. He explains that the majority of customers complain about the product because of its grossness. He tells Tokura that the only thing he can say is "yes, maam" . He then tells the protagonist that he is being rude to the company because of the fact that the company is made up of "women" who complain about their products all the time. When Tokura asks if the company has confidence in the new product, the assistant replies that it is healthy and that they should use this argument to sell the product to customers. To the protagonist's frustration, he tells the assistant that he does not have a girlfriend and that women give him the creeps.
