The next morning, Hayato wakes up in his room in the castle. He's not sure where he's been for the past five years, but he knows it's because he snuck some sleeping pills into his room and left it open all night. Hayato tells the story of how he used to be a member of the castle's ninja unit, and how he and Hayato used to meet up and talk in secret. They've never seen each other since, but Hayato insists that he wants to learn everything he can from the castle, so he'll teach Hayato how to throw a dart with his whole arm.
