About This Chapter
The chapter opens with the narrator asking the angels if they're sure that Aran is dead. He's been following him around for a year now, but he's just come back from the brink of death. He wants to know what's going on between him and Aran. The narrator asks the angels to tell him whether or not he should tell Aran or not. The angels say no, and the narrator says he'd rather not tell him. He also asks if there's anything the angels are looking for him for, since he committed a crime and can't return to the human race. He asks if the angel police are searching for him, but the narrator doesn't know. He says they've been looking for Aran for a long time, but now that he committed the crime, he'll have to turn himself in to the authorities. He tells the angels that he brought a friend of his to give him a lecture, and that's when he realized that the man he was talking about is Aran's stalker. He knows where he is, and he asks if he should call the police, since Aran was the sweetest person in the world. The angel replies that he'm not sure, but that he knows to be continued.
