Gorio21 and Maria arrive at the gate of Mount Sumeru, where they meet Hiroshi and his companions. Hiroshi tells them that he knows where they are going because he has the ability to see when and where the gate will open. They tell him that they are former members of the Twelve Generals and that they have come to find out what they want to know. Maria begins to explain the current stances of the twelve generals. She explains how one of them betrayed Mariane and the others and went to Moma side. She also explains how moma destroyed the army of Light and erased the twelve Generals memories and banished them to the dark world of consciousness. They are fools, she tells them, for they have chosen the path of light and darkness. The only difference between the two is that Mariane managed to survive her imprisonment in the dark. They must return to the light world to regain their former forms as gods. The traitor, Hiroshi, says that he is going to meet the dark one.
