The next morning, the men discuss the situation in the prison. They hear that the prisoners have been taken prisoner, but they do not know if they are still there. The men are grateful to all the pilots for their efforts to save the prisoners, and they vow that if the situation does not improve, they will have to kill all of the soldiers who survive. They look at the prisoners and see that they are all dead except for one prisoner, who they believe is a pilot. They wonder if the air force has another attack on the prison, and the men wonder where the prisoners are.
