In this chapter, we learn that the dark servants have left Druaddle, and that the living key has been taken by the monster. The monster explains that he is still the king of the land, despite the fact that he does not have special powers. He tells the monster that the door to the tower has finally been opened in 17 years, but that it is still not completely stable. The door will toll if it is opened, but it is not yet fully locked.
