When the police arrive, they tell the gang that they've found the culprit, and they're going to arrest him. They're not going to let the gang go, though, because they don't want to hurt the little girl they love so dearly. They tell her that she's going to have to wait a bit before they can figure out who she really is, and then they'll figure out a way to help her. The gang is all, "wait a bit, we're definitely going to find the person who kicked you in the guts." They've got a lot of work to do, they say, and it's time to get back to business as usual.
