The ghost tells xin-cheng that a snake is coming towards them. He tells them not to provoke it, as snakes are common in deserted areas. Worried, zhu runs off, but the ghost disappears in a flash of an eye. Unsure of what to do, the ghost tells him to get lost. He says that since he is already in the area, he should just stay. The ghost says that he is not interested in zhu's identity, as he has "fun preying" .
