In this chapter, we get a little glimpse of what it's like to be a "splash" . We're introduced to a new character named "little mei" , who's just arrived on the scene. Little mei's boss, Brother Chi, has told him to check in on the "splash," and Little Mei is thrilled to see that he's on board with the plan. He's also excited to hear that Brother Chi went to the teahouse to clarify the situation, and that the guy who was supposed to be hooking up with the girl was actually there to meet his hook-up date. This is the first time we've heard that Little Meili is actually a witch, and she's a little freaked out by the whole thing. She's even more freaked out when she sees that little mei is turning around in the shower.
