About This Chapter
In the meantime, Hirokazu and Ositake are still waiting for the return of their business partner. Hiroki asks if they can borrow some money from him, and they agree to do so if he can get back to them in a few days. As Hiroki prepares to leave, he asks if there is anyone who offers to invest in his business, and Hiroki says that he would be willing to take a chance on it if it were offered to him by someone who was a member of his family. He then goes on to say that the man who offered him the money was a relative of his father's, and that he and his family were not able to get along. He adds that he is jealous of the man's success and riches, and he throws away an opportunity to make a good living for himself. He also says that if he had not turned down the offer, he would not have had to deal with Hiroki's brother, who was having trouble getting back to him. He asks if Hiroki is ready to take on the business again, and if so, where to sign the contract.
