In this chapter, the reader is introduced to a new character, who is a member of the Black Panther Party. He is the leader of the party's youth wing. The chapter opens with a discussion of the violence that has occurred in the United States since Black Panther leader Walter Scott's assassination. The discussion is interrupted by the arrival of a group of young people who have come to see a performance of Black Panther's music. The young men are shocked to learn that Scott is an active participant in the violence and that he has been a part of the cause of the unrest in the U.S.
