In this chapter, we learn that the police have been called in to investigate the disappearance of a woman. The woman is a member of a special police unit called "the vagabond" , and she has seen the ghost of her husband hanging from a tree in the forest. The police are called in, and the woman asks if they have heard from the "special" unit yet. The man replies that they have, but that he has an urgent announcement that the evil spirit has captured him. He tells the woman that he is also a "vagabond" and that he will be unable to protect the man anymore. He asks the woman if she has any other reason for his mistake. She says that she has, and he tells her that everything they have done for the past ten years will be wasted. He says that he does not want to be a fugitive anymore, but he does want to have a duel with the man. He reminds the woman not to move, but to stay back and observe carefully. He also tells her not to be afraid of danger, but not to come all the way to the forest for a duel. He adds that since he has been waiting for the man, he has enough energy to hold the army for about ten more minutes. He thanks the woman for her hard work. The narrator then tells us that the group of five students who make up the task force named "task force c21" have come up with a brilliant idea to solve the case. They call themselves the "owl, minh, silly, son, chubby, sang, skinny, tung, and dumpster" .
