In this chapter, we're introduced to a new character, David. He's a scientist, and he's on a mission to find his wife, Laura, who's been missing since the night of the explosion. We're also introduced to some of the other guys on the ship, including Captain Hobbes and his son-in-law, Krook. They're all on the same mission: to find Laura.
