In this chapter, we learn that Juliet's favorite play is Romeo and Juliet, and that she has spent a great deal of money on her education. She tells us that she's always wanted to escape from the outside world, but that she can't find a place like this in her life. She says that the enchantress has given her a book that allows her to escape the world, which makes her feel like she is escaping from her own life. The only thing she can think of to say is that she loves her father and wishes she could see him first.
