About This Chapter
In this chapter, the robot continues his conversation with the owner of the house. He tells the owner that he's the one who owns the house and that he needs to clean it up. He also tells the other robots that they can do the same thing and that they don't even need to apologize for the mess they've made. The robot also tells him that his brother is mad that he has to eat pancakes every day for three weeks and that his father laughs so hard that the juice in his nose comes out of his mouth. The other robots also tell him that they're sorry that he fell in love with him. The owner tells the robot that he can't rent a storage locker because he doesn't want to be a freeloader. He says that he likes the way the robots are like sheep, and he'd like to be like them too. He's not sure if he should be a robot or a human, but he likes running errands because it makes him feel less alone. He wants to be able to talk to the robots, too, so he asks if they would like to hear jokes. The robots say yes, and the owner says that they do have a new resident named "m" and a new identifier named "e3." The owner then tells the robots that he wants to update the robot's name to "m.
