Back at school, Desdemona is worried that she hasn't been able to finish her homework. She's also worried about the school's recent theft of the school microscopes. She wants to know what's going on, and she wants the school to return the microscopes so that she can show her students the organelles of a cell. Desdemonas's worried that without them, she won't be able to give her students a real-life lesson on how to use the microscope to study cells. She asks her friends if they have any information about the theft, and they all agree that it's a shame that the school would steal such a valuable piece of equipment. They also agree that they'd like to see the microscope back so that they can use it to study their own cells, instead of seeing a drawing of a tiny part of a human body. They're also worried that if the school doesn't return the equipment, they'll have to go back to Iowa to get it.
