Waking up in the middle of the night, Teta Elzbieta wakes up in her room. She's been up all night trying to get ready for bed, but she can't sleep because she's woken up by the sound of a bat flying through the air. Teta tells her that she'll have to wake up early the next morning because she has to go to bed early. She wakes up to find that Teta has woken up and gone to bed. She goes to her room to find Teta and Teta's father, who's waiting for her. They're in bed together, and the father tells Teta that he's glad she woke up early because it's time for her to go back to school. He's also glad Teta didn't wake up earlier because it would have taken her a long time to get back to class, and she doesn't want to be late for her first day back at school.
