The narrator tells us that he and Damis have decided to stop giving advice to Damis's new beau, and that they're going to do it at his house instead. Damis tells the narrator that he's been waiting for Damis for nine years, and he tells him that he doesn't look happy. He tells Damis that he was never interested in dating, but Damis says that's because he is a "comfortable friend." Damis asks Damis why they don't practice dating, and the narrator says that he wants to "practice right away," so they can get to know each other better. The narrator agrees that they should practice right away, but he says that they shouldn't be too conscious of Damis, because they'll be in a relationship soon. He says that Damis searched for advice on how to get over someone, and found something like "unin unrequited love," which means that the person didn't like Damis at all. So Damis is like, "um, i think i've always liked that person, um... i guess I was too young back then to notice though" . He wants Damis to be taller, handsomer, and better-mannered so that he won't have to give up on his crush.
