In this chapter, Lamia, the daughter of the great hero, is introduced. She explains that she has come to protect the hero from the princess, who wants to kill him and re-create him as the hero. She also explains that the twelve tribes of monsters have come to prevent the princess from re-inhabiting the hero as she wishes. Lamia says that they will not let the princess do what she wants if she wants.
