The narrator tells the story of the daughter of the sappho chairman, who has been keeping a low profile in order to protect herself from the public. After graduating from university she has been looking for a single person, but has been unable to find any trace of her. The narrator says that recently, an unknown force has threatened the expansion of his father's power. He says that he has found a series of blind spots in the area where his father used to frequent meetings with his son-in-law, the head of his district. When the wife of the head was cooking dinner in the kitchen, she did not hear any noises, but upon returning to the bedroom she found the husband dead beside his bed with a slit open. He asks the narrator if he checked the cctv footage and discovers that only one person passed by the corridor between 7:30 and 8:30 that night.
