The scene opens in the art room of the school where the narrator is a student. He's been drinking heavily and is worried that he's just gotten dumped. He wants to know what's going on, but he doesn't want to get into a fight with the other students. Instead, he wants to have a drink with the guy who dumped him. He asks the guy if he has feelings for him, and the guy says yes. The narrator asks if the guy is planning on getting laid tonight, but the guy insists that he isn't. The two of them head out to have drinks, but before they leave, the narrator tells the guy that he shouldn't be hanging out with other students because he just got dumped.
