In this chapter, we learn that youngjin rejected Sung-hyun because he is the guardian of Yeoomin. He tells us that he has never been rejected in this way before, and that he is confused about everything. He says that he was pushed away by youngjin, but that this rejection is the first time he has been rejected because of his guardian status. He asks if youngjin's rejection was the only reason he was rejected, and he says that it was clear that he had an unpleasant attitude toward the two of them. He wonders why he did not notice that, but he also asks why he was pursuing youngjin all this time, when he could have been pursuing someone else. He adds that he would rather lose someone than cling onto someone like youngjin. He then asks if he is talking about a misunderstanding, and when he hears that it is, he asks if it is amisunderstanding regarding what they failed to do back in the past. He feels that the situation will be different in the future.
