About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. Shmoop explains that all of the knights have been killed, and that the protagonist has been forced to flee with them. He asks the protagonist's friend, Dongsik, if he can keep him safe, and the protagonist replies that he is the one who is responsible for keeping him safe. The protagonist then asks the friend if he is okay, and he replies that they are all talking, and if they can't keep him safely, then they should just leave him alone. He tells the friend that the alley is right next to Lee's sunsin Park, and there should be four unconscious people there. He says that although he doesn't like the people there, he still likes them because they are his friends, and they are still noisy noisy noisy people. He then asks if they should go somewhere else, and she replies that she is used to it, because she is in the same situation as he is. She tells him that she learned martial arts when she was in the middle of school, and when she first experienced solitude, it was "utterly quiet and peaceful."
