Back at the palace, Madame Pernelle tries to calm down her servant. She tells him that he is too weak to fight her, and that if he wants to save his master, he should listen to her. She also tells him not to touch him, as his master will not bat an eye if thousands of him do so. She says that if she brings the servant with her, the servant will not notice her at all, and he will not think of her as a threat to his master
